Adorning this post you’ll find examples of the mosaiced street sign artwork which are dotted around the Trafford area. I’m presuming they’re all of a similar vintage – I’ve not had time to dig into their history as yet – and are complimented by similar artwork that can be found at ground level. They’re beautiful, featuring both recognisable shapes and patterned designs.

This is just a small selection of the numerous pieces, with a different one for each street. I plan on documenting all of them when I have the time.
