I came across the above image on Facebook group and realised that I could pinpoint the exact spot it was taken and recreate the photo, something I’ve done before.
Unfortunately, Seymour Grove is a great deal busier today compared to back then, so it took a while to realise the idea. Fortunately, I had the perfect opportunity when the road was closed for the Manchester Marathon, taking the below photograph.

It didn’t take long to combine the two photographs, creating the resulting image. I think it came out pretty well.
