Gareth Hacking is a freelance-photographer, living and working in the city of Manchester, specialising in event photography. Events I have documented range from film and music festivals to weddings, with the resulting photographs featured on websites such as BBC News and Creative Tourist, and in books such as Procession by Jeremy Deller.<\/p>\n

He has had his photography exhibited in a number of venues across the city, including Manchester Arena, Soup Kitchen and Zion Arts Centre. Further afield, his photography has been exhibited in Cambrian Academy, Conwy and the World Museum, Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Currently, his primary project is the Manchester Bees. The aim of the project is to celebrate one of Manchester\u2019s most visible icons, through looking at its history and its presence as a symbol of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
